Bertha was the first child of Ernestine and Christian Trautvetter. She married Gustav Robert Trefzger on April 28, 1885. Gustav and Bertha had 3 children.
While his sons were small Gustav left the family and moved to Indianapolis.
Gustav & Bertha's children:
Augusta, their 1st child, died when ony 4 days old.
Emil Anton, their 2nd child, went to Business School and become a speed typist.
Gustav Robert, Jr., their 3rd child, went to the Gregg School in Chicago, and also became a speed typist.
