Albert was the fourth son of Anton and Elizabeth. Albert married Clara Faber. They had no children.
Albert started to work for Charles J. Off and Company, a wholsale grocery, at the age of 16. Later after sales experience on the road, and becoming a department manager, he became president of the company when Mr Ott retired in 1911.

In 1890 the Peoria Directory list Albert as a traveling salesman for Charles J. Off & Company.
In 1910 Albert and Clara live in Peoria Ward 1.
In 1920 they live in Peoria Heights. Clara's mother Elizabeth age 74 is with them.
In 1930 they are still in Peoria Heights, but alone.
